From Moments to Memories: Celebrating World Photography Day ( 19 August )

Photography -  A magical art of,    Capturing the story behind moments, Converting ordinary moments into special moments, Adding values to unseen feelings, ... Today, on World Photography Day, let's celebrate this beautiful blend of art, craft, science and history. The history behind the celebration is that on this day i.e.  August 19, 1839,  the invention and public release of the photographic process was done by the French government. This groundbreaking moment  marked the birth of photography as a publicly accessible art form . American photographer Jeannette Klute played a key role at Eastman Kodak in developing and promoting color photography as a fine art form.   Photography Means “Drawing with Light”. In earlier days, photography held a special significance. Only a few precious moments were captured, framed, and cherished.  The wait for the physical copy brought its own excitement and joy. Unlike today, where a photograph appears in a...

Relationships Borns, Life grows...

Relationship is one of the most important elements of our life. It is a bond between two people or even two families, where emotions, influence, responsibility and understanding play a major role in creating joy. At every stage of life, new relationships are born.   First, we begin as a daughter or son. Then comes the new role of a daughter-in-law or son-in-law. With time another milestone arrives, the journey of becoming a mother or father, a delicate yet deeply fulfilling bond. Later, we step into another new role as a mother-in-law or father-in-law, again embracing fresh dynamics. And so the cycle of relationships continues. Adapting to so many changes isn’t always easy.   But when we recognize and accept our role in each transition, the journey becomes smoother.  The key truth is, every new relationship is NOT the loss of an old one, but an ADDITION to the existing ones.  Each stage requires a slightly different you, yet your presence, your values, love and kindn...

Struggle to Strength: Journey of our nation on Independence day

Struggle to Strength... Hardship to Hope... Challenges to Change... Growth to Greatness... Rights to Responsibility... This is a beautiful journey of our nation.  After countless sacrifices, restless struggle and with lot of  courage   of our leaders & citizens our nation got freedom in 1947.  Independence was only the beginning, the effort to build a strong, united and progressive nation continued...  Our leaders gave their lives, energy and vision to build the strong nation that we are proud of today.  We are blessed to have a nation where our leaders are taking us to new heights of global pride. The responsibility does not lie only with leaders, our role and contribution as a citizen is equally important in shaping our nation.  Together hand-in-hand we can accelerate India's progress.   15th August, an independence day :   Let's not celebrate as another national holiday just for fun. Spend time with your kids showing them o...

Playtime Goldentime: Structuring Futures with Blocks and Imagination

There's a world of wonder unlocked in every child’s playtime.  True magic happens when kids are free to play, imagine, and explore. Kids play time is golden time of life. When we go back to our childhood and think of games we used to play, we had very limited options. But now the play time can be very creative if we teach and divert our kids to toys which can enhance creativity, focus, patience, imagination and many more such skills.  The most creative play time i found was building imaginary structures using LEGO like building blocks. In the world of technology, this is the best way to divert out kids focus. Building blocks like Lego do teach us life lessons, just briefing few here:  Moments Build the Journey: They say that like lego blocks, our life is full of experiences and moments. Joint them and make a beautiful journey. Tools and Their Purpose Matter: It teaches us that both tools and use of tool is important to come up with something solid. So in life resources an...

Cities of SMILES: A concept of designing for joy

I came across a new concept of happy cities while  exploring, so thought of sharing it with you all. A Happy City is more than just a place, it’s a concept built around enhancing the well-being of its citizens in every way:  Physically,  Emotionally  and  Socially.  It’s not defined by wealth or skyscrapers, but by how people live, feel, and connect within their surroundings. Happy citizens lead to peaceful, productive, and prosperous societies. In a truly Happy City, the focus is on creating spaces and systems that support a joyful, healthy and connected community. Key features of happy cities are: 1. Green Spaces - Parks, trees, and gardens improve mood and health. 2. Walkability & Clean Air - Safe sidewalks, bike lanes, and low pollution help people move freely and live better. 3. Community Connection - People know their neighbors, feel safe, and help each other. 4. Affordable Living - Homes, schools, and healthcare are accessible and fair. 5. Publ...

Brother and Sister – A Bond Beyond Time

A brother–sister relationship is a perfect blend of love, care, and understanding. It’s more than just sharing the same parents, it’s about sharing the same history, the same unspoken understanding and a silent promise to protect each other. They may be healthy competitors at times, yet their bond is woven with loyalty and warmth. Growing up in the same environment, seeing the world side by side, they carry roots that are strong and unshakable. Life may take them on different paths, but those roots remain for a lifetime. This is one bond that begins with love and keeps that love alive forever. The world may change,  Time may transform, The way we express love may change, BUT The depth of love never fades. Whether a sister ties a rakhi in person or sends it across through a digital platform, the emotion in her heart remains unchanged, just a click away now. On this Raksha Bandhan, I wish all brothers, whether near or far — a lifetime of happiness and success. May God fulfill all you...

“Friends: chosen family, constant strength

A Friend is a family chosen by soul. Unlike any other relationship, friendship is built on freedom, trust and the joy of simply being together with no expectations, no conditions, no rules, no formalities.  A friend is not just someone who understands us, but someone who chooses to stand with us especially when our life gets tough. While many may join us in our laughter, a true friend sits quietly beside when we feel weakest. In a world full of relationships bound by blood, duty, or roles friendship is the only bond chosen purely by the heart. Friends don't judge,  they accept. Friends don't expect perfection  they love us as we are. Friends are not just companion, they are your family. Friends don’t walk ahead or behind, they always walk beside us, they always cheer for us, they always celebrate our success, they always lift our mood, they always protect our secrets, And they be with you always without asking anything in return. Even if you think differently, come from d...
