Cooking: A Vanishing Art in Today’s World

Kitchen-less Home: Future of today's world. This term might look unrealistic but that is where our future will take us if we are not taking our current life style seriously. My previous article on " Cooking: Unbeatable art of woman " has already mentioned the importance of cooking. But friends " Is this cooking art going to continue with time?"  Chances seems to be less. Cooking, once considered an essential life skill and a cherished tradition, is gradually vanishing in today’s fast-paced world. The pressures of modern life , changing lifestyles , and the convenience of ready-to-eat meals have led many to stop or reduce home cooking to a great extent. While technological advancements and food delivery services offer convenience, they also pose a threat on cooking process. In the past, cooking was an integral part of daily life. During get-togethers, occasions families gathered around the kitchen, sharing recipes and enjoying home-cooked meals. However, the rise...

Cooking: An Unbeatable Art of Woman

COOKING is more than just preparing food: it is a blend of creativity, love, and tradition. Cooking has long been considered an essential skill mastered by women across generations. From ancient times to modern kitchens, women have played an important role in making cooking an unbeatable art. Traditional cuisine passed down from grandmothers to mothers showcase the richness of cooking.

GOD and GOOD: A Thin Line Between

Everything good comes from GOD Yes, there is quite literally a thin line between " GOD " and " GO O D "—just the letter " O ." But beyond spelling, there's also a deeper connection. Many philosophies and religious beliefs associate goodness with good qualities of God such as kindness, love, and righteousness.  God comes from the Old English gōd (meaning supreme being). Good also comes from the Old English gōd, (meaning desirable). Though they share a common root, their meanings diverged over time. The similarity in spelling is coincidental rather than intentional.  However, my view is if we see them as connected, it can easily influence our thoughts and will reinforce the belief that God represents ultimate goodness. So let's step from good to god, let's be good to all.   Truly good is to align with God's will or nature. By - Rupal

For my readers : Note of THANKS

A performance holds no value without an applause ,   A recipe is meaningless unless enjoyed, A song has no soul if never heard, A painting has no beauty if never seen, A love has no depth if never expressed,   AND A write-up serves no purpose if left unread. Thanks a lot friends for your amazing response on all articles written so far and especially the recent one on mother tongue. Just another note i would like to add for my readers here: An article read once is like, Grasping main idea,  An article read twince is like, Connecting with concepts written,  An article read multiple times is like, Initiating thinking with deeper understanding. Friends please do read articles that you find RELEVANT to yourself multiple times to serve the objective of sharing my thoughts.  Thanks and with regards, Rupal

International Mother Language day (21 feb) : માતૃભાષા આપણું ગૌરવ

Friends, tomorrow is International Mother language day , on this occasion i would like to ask that, when our child speaks English fluently we feel proud but at the same time when he/she cannot even utter a word in our mother tongue why are we not feeling shameful?  It's good and necessary to know fluent English but at the same time it's equally important to know fluent reading and writing of our mother tongue.  Mother tongue is our pride. માતૃભાષા આપણું ગૌરવ છે. 21મી ફેબ્રુઆરી આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય માતૃભાષા દિવસ તરીકે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.

Today in the digital world, OTP (One-Time Password) is a crucial security measure that unlocks your trasactions and makes your task successful.  But friends have we ever thought that if such OTPs (“One-Time Principles”) if applied to our life can bring us happiness?  "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."   – Mahatma Gandhi Happiness is what boosts Health. So friends let's work on it. Here is the OTP of happy life i could think of : O ptimistic      : Hopeful and Positive By maintaining a positive outlook, we can look at challenges as opportunities or learning experiece. This will also open doors to personal growth and long-term happiness. This might take you away from the feeling of failure and comparison.  T hankful         : Expressing appreciation. Appreciation is a magical tool but rare to find in people now a days. When we appreciate others, it helps you focus on positivit...

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Jayanti: A Journey from Devotion to Enlightenment

"The mind is like a white cloth; it takes the color you dip it into."   This great message was given by a great saint and thinker of india,  Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa.   He was born on 18 February 1836 in Kamarpukur Village, Hooghly District, West Bengal. He was guru of wellknown hindu monk and philos opher Swami vivekananda. "You see many stars in the sky at night, but not when the sun rises. Can you therefore say that there are no stars in the heavens during the day? O man, because you cannot find God in the days of your ignorance, say not that there is no God."  Such a simple way to explain existance of god.  Today's world in which people’s faith in traditional religions has been considerably reduced by the disbelief, materialism and scientific thinking, his lessons can lead us to true path. Today on the occassion of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Jayanti, I would like to share few of his enlightening  messages: All regligions take us to same path (  ...

Writing : AI a game changer, BUT...

Friends, yesterday we spoke about how technology impacted reading skills, especially for children. But there is always a good side of a coin. As far as writing skills are considered, AI ( Artifical Intelligence) has almost replaced human involvement. It too has many areas of concern. Writing skills require combination of cognitive , linguistic and creative skills . It requires coordination of brain, eye and hands . Brain which generates and organizes ideas, eyes that guides hand movements and helps in maintaining proper formatting and hands which controls pen for handwriting.  Writing is a complicate process which requires multiple skills to get the effective outcome. AI has made our work faster, very less efforts required in coming up with right contents for right audiance with right style of presenting (including visual presentation) in a fraction of seconds. Yes this is a breakthrough. Strengths of AI is its speed, precision and scalability.  The tools generated by human b...

Reading: Shift from BOOKS to SCREENS

Reading is considered as Fuel for brain and Food for the soul.   But now a days habit of  reading a book in-fact habit of reading itself is reducing. The technology transformation has changed the way people consume knowledge. Now a days people scan internet, watch videos and ask for information on instant messaging. This kind of reading has reduced patience and focus, it makes deep reading less common. Reading is an art friends. Don't let it vanish.  Benefits of reading are many, as we all know-  It enhances knowledge, sharpens the mind, and fuels creativity. Reading a story book and watching story on internet has a big difference in terms of imagination and creativity that our mind develops.  Studies suggest that reading regularly can reduce stress , improve cognitive function, and even prevent mental decline in old age .  Reading is a Lifelong Companion . Book is said to be one of our best friend . Reading is not just a habit or an exercise—it is an esse...

Power of Self - Love: A force that connects, heals and inspires YOU

Today on the occassion of valentines day, friends i would like to share my thoughts on  SELF-LOVE , a force that connects, heals and inspires YOU.   Love is not just a feeling—it’s a choice, an action, and a way of life. True love is unconditional and self less in nature. Self-love is the way of accepting, valuing and forgiving yourself. This in long run can lead you to a greater sense of self-worth and confidence. It can also help you reduce your stress and build resilience.  Self love is all about self-care, self-talk, self-acceptance, self-appraisal ...   Today's life style is going at fast-pace and in this journey we forget ourself, we need to take care of our self too .

Parenting : A chapter Revisited

Friends, lets revisit our history, we have seen that transformations are happening with time in the world around us. Infrastructure is getting reshaped, the fashion gets revised with time, even our acedamic syllabus, our text books gets revised with time. These revised chapters of life we accept as it comes, than  friends, why don't we think that few chapters of Parenting needs to be revised too with time.   Gentle Parenting: In today's fast-paced and technology-driven world, the traditional method of raising children which emphasized more on discipline and strict attitude need to get evolved into more understanding and flexible approach . The shift from rule-based to gentle parenting has to happen.  Instead of complaining, try to understand our child.  During any conversation with teacher or friends or our child, all negative comments should be listened carefully and worked towards improving it. Let it not go into angry or arguing mood, they are our well wishers. Us...

Emotions VS. EMOJIS

EMOTIONS ARE FELT, EMOJIS ARE SEEN God gave us emotions to relate to him and others. Its a gift from GOD. Without expressing feelings our life would feel dull.... Expressing emotions have many benefits including improved mental health, better relationships and increased resilience. Emotions affects how we interpret the world around us. Now in today's technology world, Emoji has taken place of expressing feelings. Emoji originally means pictograph comes from the japanese word (e-picture, moji-character) . There are plenty of emojis to represent our expressions. Its easy to send it across, it is just a matter of single click. Many a times emojis are interpreted also differently by individuals. It might convey incorrect message to other party.   BUT friends think about it,  Sense of connection and motivation expressed when feelings are shared in words or typed as text has much more impact and personal touch than an Emojis. When its fun chat or normal conversion its fine to s...

KIDS : Our reflection, Our Responsibility

Friends, can we spare sometime and go back to our childhood....  The fun days we had, stress-free environment we lived, friend circle we had, level of communication we had with our family, games we used to play with our parents and lot many things.....  We did not have so many exposures but yes, the freedom (stress-free) to play and study. We did not have many activities around but still exposure with no competition around.  We did not have too many tuitions but still had professionals and skilled people around.  Feel so nice to think of all this.  BUT  Are we as parents really providing the same environment to our kids? They are always loaded with too much of competition, too many challenges, too many exams and evaluations, too many tuitions. It's an environment full of stress. Its good sometimes to have competition but everything in excess is harmful. Friends it's taking away their childhood. CHILDHOOD COMES ONLY ONCE LET's NOT SPOIL IT... LET THEM ENJOY...
