"Goal To Role" Journey

Know your GOAL to perform your ROLE better.

These words are not just connected by sound but they have deeper connection than that.

"Goal to Role" journey is a purpose driven path.

When we understand our goal, we know the purpose and direction for a task. This makes it easy to understand our responsibilities.

Women perform multiple roles. We get stressed while playing so many challenging and responsible roles at different point of time. The "Goal to Role" journey process helps translating a goal into a defined role with responsibilities and actions. This will make our task simple and stress-free. Infact this is true for all individuals.

Let's understand this with one example:

Define Goal of a mother: (This is to some extent connected with parenting also).

  • Caregiver
  • Guide/Mentor
  • Support her child to become a happy, responsible, and successful individual.

Once this is defined, she can arrive at her ROLE easily:

  • As a CareGiver, she can focus on kids daily needs, food habits, emotional support
  • As a guide / mentor : she can teach life lessons, induce good values of life, give educational learnings, share her experiences with child
  • As a support : she can provide moral as well as emotional support.

Once ROLE is clear, one can work on identifying and acquiring required skills & knowledge and excel in a given role.

This is also applicable in corporate world.

This is also applicable in personal and professional world.

Few highlights:

  • GOAL SETTING : Define your GOAL at specific milestones in life eg. Birthdays, anniversaries, start of year, start of every month, start of carrier etc.
  • GOAL REVISING : At every milestone look back and revise your goals.
  • GOAL TO ROLE JOURNEY: This is not theory friends, one needs to sit back and work on it but believe me goal setting gives role clarity. This will help you a lot in your path ahead.

Friends,

GOAL setting can take sometime but its worth spending friends for some of our important roles in life.

GOAL setting provides a road map, and if you follow that with dedication you can excel your ROLE and that too stress-free way.

KIDS : Our reflection, Our Responsibility

Friends, can we spare sometime and go back to our childhood....  The fun days we had, stress-free environment we lived, friend circle we had, level of communication we had with our family, games we used to play with our parents and lot many things.....  We did not have so many exposures but yes, the freedom (stress-free) to play and study. We did not have many activities around but still exposure with no competition around.  We did not have too many tuitions but still had professionals and skilled people around.  Feel so nice to think of all this.  BUT  Are we as parents really providing the same environment to our kids? They are always loaded with too much of competition, too many challenges, too many exams and evaluations, too many tuitions. It's an environment full of stress. Its good sometimes to have competition but everything in excess is harmful. Friends it's taking away their childhood. CHILDHOOD COMES ONLY ONCE LET's NOT SPOIL IT... LET THEM ENJOY...

International Mother Language day (21 feb) : માતૃભાષા આપણું ગૌરવ

Friends, tomorrow is International Mother language day , on this occasion i would like to ask that, when our child speaks English fluently we feel proud but at the same time when he/she cannot even utter a word in our mother tongue why are we not feeling shameful?  It's good and necessary to know fluent English but at the same time it's equally important to know fluent reading and writing of our mother tongue.  Mother tongue is our pride. માતૃભાષા આપણું ગૌરવ છે. 21મી ફેબ્રુઆરી આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય માતૃભાષા દિવસ તરીકે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
