Shopping: A woman's joy in every cart. Continued....
While this is true, our time management skills during shopping will also help kids learn value of time and time-management skills at early age.
In my last article, I explored the first element of shopping i.e. Spending money. Now let's look at second element which is Saving Time:
S - Saving Time while shopping
Here are few tips that i could think of:
- Prepare a shopping list. In kitchen keep a magnetic board or note wherein you keep on noting items which you need to buy.
- Keep on updating the list , it won't take much time but will save your time during shopping. Do not forget to carry that list during shopping.
- Carry a list always with you so incase some unplanned shopping happens you can refer to your list.
- It might look silly but a useful tip, you can take a snap of items in fridge before shopping so you can check it out during shopping in case you are not sure of stock of the same.
- Its said:
"Skip the queues, shop online!
More choices,
better deals,
doorstep convenience!"
Now a days online shopping is preferred and has many advantages. Identify items which can be purchased online. Order those group of items online.
- Try to shop during off-peak hours to avoid long queues.
- For costly items like household or electronic items do prior study.
- Get reviews
- Explore on internet on various brands.
- Check Festive offers if any
This prior study will help you set the budget and ease your decision during shopping. Infact this will save your lots of time.
UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEED AND WANT.
Enjoy SMART Shopping. 😃

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this insightful article on how shopping can actually save time! The topic itself is quite refreshing, as we often hear about shopping being time-consuming rather than a time-saving activity. The way the article presents logical arguments and practical strategies makes it a valuable read for anyone looking to optimize their daily routines.
One of the key takeaways for me was the emphasis on planned and smart shopping. The idea that shopping with a list, utilizing online platforms, and taking advantage of home delivery services can significantly cut down on unnecessary store visits is truly relevant in today's fast-paced world. It’s a great reminder that, with the right approach, shopping doesn't have to be a tedious task but rather a well-organized one that frees up time for other important activities.
I also appreciate the mention of bulk shopping and subscription services, which are excellent ways to reduce the frequency of shopping trips. Many people overlook how much time they waste on multiple store visits, and this article effectively highlights the benefits of consolidating purchases to make life easier.
Another great point was the discussion on technology-driven shopping solutions like AI-based recommendations, instant checkout options, and smart grocery planning apps. These modern advancements are indeed revolutionizing the way we shop, making the process quicker and more efficient.
Overall, this article does a fantastic job of shedding light on an aspect of shopping that isn't often discussed. Instead of viewing shopping as a chore, it encourages us to see it as a strategic activity that, when done right, can actually help us reclaim our time. Well-written and informative! Looking forward to reading more on similar topics.
