Today's article is to show my gratitude to hum chale pathshala team. ( A group who works continuously to maintain interest of kids and young adults by promoting them for Jainism teaching in pathshala.)
This week we were watching the 'hum chale pathshala program ',(We too are being part of 'hum chale pathshala scheme), the pure efforts of the team to support, motivate and grow jain religion activities especially for the current generation is really appreciable.Pathasala is a traditional or supplementary learning spaces, often spiritual in nature. Ham chalo pathshala very well displays the importance of sanskar that our pathasala brings in our and our child's life. Our religion sutra/understanding its meaning was getting vanished in coming generations, but this team has done a wonderful work by giving good rewards and continuously monitoring the activities throughout the year and finally make it a grand success and making a major difference to lakhs of people's life.
In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, education is often confined to academic achievements and exam scores. However, Pathasala offers more than just academics – it nurtures values, discipline, culture, and spiritual grounding. The question whether it is a necessity or merely an extra activity prompts us to evaluate:
- Is holistic development possible only through schools and tuition?
- Are values, ethics, and emotional intelligence being adequately addressed in modern education?
- Do children need exposure to cultural and traditional knowledge?
If we view Pathasala as just another activity, we may miss its deeper significance. But if we recognize it as a necessity for well-rounded development, then it becomes as important as formal education. It promotes moral clarity, inner discipline, respect for heritage, and community bonding—qualities that often get overlooked in standard curriculums.
Hence, we must reflect: Are we preparing children only for careers, or for life as responsible, grounded individuals?
So lets pour seeds of good life values in our kids and coming generations by sending them to pathasala. Religion is a way of life, a true way of living a life which can bring positive difference to our as well as other's life in a long run. It will help your kid make a good network of friends and good thoughts.
Hope this article helps all of us to join the aim of 'hum chalo pathasala' atleast by sending our kids to pathasala regularly.
Jai jinendra.
