From Pitch to Purpose: How Cricket Mirrors Life

Cricket fever is on everywhere right now. If we don't just look at it game, it gives a wonderful message for our life.

Cricket is like life : full of challenges, teamwork, surprises and opportunities... Cricket and life share many deep and meaningful similarities.

Cricket where the toss winner gets the opportunity to choose bat/bowl first. Here toss flip is not in our control but decision to bat or bowl is in our control and its important decision.

Like this in life the toss represents the things you can’t control: luck, timing, circumstances of birth, opportunities. But what you can do is the step you take next, preparation you do for whatever comes next. That's important.

------------------------------------------------

Cricket where success depends on all players not just one player.

Life is also about teamwork of family members, teamwork at work, teamwork in communities. We can achieve more together than alone.

------------------------------------------------

Cricket where every player has defined role to play like bowler, batsman, fielder. Sometimes multiple roles to play, but every role is well defined. In life also every individual has a role/roles to play, it's the matter of understanding our role/roles clearly.

------------------------------------------------

Cricket where results are unpredictable at times. Life also gives unpredictable results sometimes in terms of success, in terms of rewards, in terms of achievements. We just need to analyse it, learn from it and try to be better next time.

------------------------------------------------

Like cricket, where winning game with humility and losing with grace is true sportsmanship. Life also is about how we behave in success or failure, it defines our character.

------------------------------------------------

Like cricket, timely play is important. 'Miss to catch a ball', 'Miss to reach the target during running', 'Miss to bowl at right target' is many a times just a matter of few seconds but it can turn out costly in terms of winning the game. Time is very important here. Life also is a game of time, things done at right time is important. Grab the opportunity as it comes.

------------------------------------------------

Like Cricket where it requires good planning at every stage of game. In Life also planning is very important at milestones. We need to plan and act to succeed.

------------------------------------------------

Like Cricket where practice is must throughout the year to show the results in actual matches. In Life also we need to practice to win.

------------------------------------------------

Like wise each game gives many learnings, it's a matter of catching it....

So this cricket season let's learn from cricket while watching and enjoying.....
Let's catch the messages and win our game of life.

Happy watching friends...

An article with celebration : 50 it is not just a number of this article , it's a milestone, a journey, an experience and learning too.... Yes friends, this is my 50th article. And here I would like to make an important announcement that while writing articles on diverse topics i landed up writing one book ๐Ÿ“š which I have published recently on various platforms. This is my first book.  With blessings of God and elders , wishes of all well-wishers and inspiration of all my readers, I could make this happen. The title of the book is:   " AI, The silent partner of our life",  AI and US, Rising the future.   The book is an eye-opener for all age groups. The book is about Artificial intelligence and Us.  It  explores the role of artificial Intelligence / technology in shaping the way we live, learn, work and connect.  This book serves as a valuable resource for us, simplifying the complexities of raising children in today's world. KIDS : Our reflection, Our Responsibility

Friends, can we spare sometime and go back to our childhood....  The fun days we had, stress-free environment we lived, friend circle we had, level of communication we had with our family, games we used to play with our parents and lot many things.....  We did not have so many exposures but yes, the freedom (stress-free) to play and study. We did not have many activities around but still exposure with no competition around.  We did not have too many tuitions but still had professionals and skilled people around.  Feel so nice to think of all this.  BUT  Are we as parents really providing the same environment to our kids? They are always loaded with too much of competition, too many challenges, too many exams and evaluations, too many tuitions. It's an environment full of stress. Its good sometimes to have competition but everything in excess is harmful. Friends it's taking away their childhood. CHILDHOOD COMES ONLY ONCE LET's NOT SPOIL IT... LET THEM ENJOY...

International Mother Language day (21 feb) : เชฎાเชคૃเชญાเชทા เช†เชชเชฃું เช—ૌเชฐเชต

Friends, tomorrow is International Mother language day , on this occasion i would like to ask that, when our child speaks English fluently we feel proud but at the same time when he/she cannot even utter a word in our mother tongue why are we not feeling shameful?  It's good and necessary to know fluent English but at the same time it's equally important to know fluent reading and writing of our mother tongue.  Mother tongue is our pride.
