Emojis bringing human touch to digital world.
Emojis are small digital icons used to express emotions, ideas, or objects in electronic messages.
Emojis are now part of our digital culture.
World Emoji Day is celebrated every year on July 17 to recognize the fun, creative and universal language of emojis. The first emojis were created in Japan in the late 1990s.
Why July 17?
The date July 17 was chosen because it is the date shown on the ð calendar emoji on most platforms. It was first celebrated in 2014, founded by Jeremy Burge, the creator of Emojipedia.
