गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।

गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः॥

( The Guru is Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer). The Guru is the Supreme Brahman itself. I bow with reverence to that divine Guru. )

In different stages of life, different people act as guru:
Teachers, Parents, Religious Gurus, Friends, our kids sometimes and even digital mentors can be considered modern gurus. A guru holds great importance in shaping our life.

Why GURU Purnima celebrated?
It is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of Ashadha (June–July) according to the Hindu Calendar.

In Hindu tradition:
It commemorates the birth of Sage Vyasa, who compiled the Vedas and authored the Mahabharata.

In Buddhism:
It marks the day when Lord Buddha gave his first sermon at Sarnath.

In Jainism:
It is the day when Lord Mahavira made Gautam Swami his first disciple.

A guru is anyone who opens our mind.
:::
A guru does not walk the path for you but shows the direction and lets you grow through the journey.
:::
A guru give you roots and wings.
:::
A guru not only share knowledge but also shape our character, values, and vision.
:::
A guru helps us grow, overcome our challenges and walk the right path with confidence and humility with their wisdom.

Life itself becomes the guru through experiences, teaching us silently through every experience, shaping us with trials and failures and elevating us through moments of happiness.

We can respect a guru by,

  • Listening them with sincerity,
  • Following their teachings with dedication,
  • showing gratitude through our actions.

Our life, our inner self can be our best guru if we try to learn from it. It can guide us too if we preserve our values well and be clear about our goal.

ONE NEED TO HAVE ATLEAST ONE GURU IN LIFE TO GUIDE US THROUGHT.

Today on the occasion of Guru Purnima celebrated this week, I would like to show my gratitude to all my gurus. Role of guru is vital in the success of a person.

🙏

An UMBRELLA mindset: Feeling calm in life's Rainy Moments

Rain is natural. Are we able to stop it?  Are we able to avoid going in rain?   Answer is NO ,   Rather we  CARRY AN UMBRELLA & Enjoy the moment .   Same way,  If unpredictable response comes from our loved-ones in life, what should we do? TAKE AN UMBRELLA APPROACH.   Let me explain in brief: Rain is natural but we invented umbrella ☔ to protect ourselves from it. This simple act conveys deep truth. It tells us that at times we face situations which we can't change, in that case we need to adapt to people as we do with seasons.  Unpredictable behavior or harsh words from loved ones are like rain. We expect warmth or support, but instead we might feel criticism or indifference.    We can not change nature of our closed ones but we can surely adapt to them in a way that protects our peace and brings joy in the moment as we do while walking with umbrella in the rain. Adaptability here doesn't mean giving up, ignoring or leaving the rela...

Be Like Salt: Quietly Powerful, Gently Essential

 What a beautiful and wise thought...... "Be like salt — present just enough to be essential, never too much to be taken for granted, and never so little to be ignored." means,  Try to build your personality like salt. People have habit of taking you for granted if you are always good to them. So never let anyone overuse you. At the same time, don’t be so absent that they forget your worth.   Like salt, which enhances flavour without overpowering, one's influence should be significant but not overwhelming.
