Can you imagine existence of a computer programme in 19th Century?
The answer is: YES. A first computer programme was developed during this time by Ada Lovelace, a visionary woman.

Ada Lovelace, A woman of proudIn early centuries scientific discoveries were mainly dominated by male scientists. This was due to social norms and educational barriers for woman. Despite these challenges many female scientists have contributed in the field of science. (I would like to highlight such visionaries based on information available so far in my coming articles.)
Background:Ada Lovelace (1815–1852) was an English mathematician and writer. She was born in London in 1815 to poet Lord Byron and Lady Byron.
Her mother another woman behind her success story ensured that Ada receives rigorous training in mathematics and science which was uncommon for women at that time. Her efforts helped her to develop skills that led to her world's first computer programmer.
Achievements:- Known as the world’s first computer programmer.
- Worked with Charles Babbage (the father of computer) on his Analytical Engine, an early mechanical computer.
- Ada programming language a powerful, secure, and highly reliable language, ideal for critical systems is named after her name.
