Be Someone’s Umbrella (Approach Extended): A Thought on Love, Presence, and Protection

In my previous article, ( https://therupaldiaries.blogspot.com/2025/07/an-umbrella-mindset-feeling-calm-in.html ) I explored  an umbrella approach, a very practical yet simple approach which works for sure. Looking at response to this article I am sure each one of us are going to try it atleast once.

An UMBRELLA mindset: Feeling calm in life's Rainy Moments

Rain is natural. Are we able to stop it?  Are we able to avoid going in rain?   Answer is NO ,   Rather we  CARRY AN UMBRELLA & Enjoy the moment .   Same way,  If unpredictable response comes from our loved-ones in life, what should we do? TAKE AN UMBRELLA APPROACH.   Let me explain in brief: Rain is natural but we invented umbrella ☔ to protect ourselves from it. This simple act conveys deep truth. It tells us that at times we face situations which we can't change, in that case we need to adapt to people as we do with seasons.  Unpredictable behavior or harsh words from loved ones are like rain. We expect warmth or support, but instead we might feel criticism or indifference.    We can not change nature of our closed ones but we can surely adapt to them in a way that protects our peace and brings joy in the moment as we do while walking with umbrella in the rain. Adaptability here doesn't mean giving up, ignoring or leaving the rela...

Learn Faster, Remember Longer: The Science of Multisensory Learning

Today is the phase of learning, evolving, educating ourselves... In my book ' AI, the silent partner of our life ' also I emphasize that in the fast-changing world of AI/technology self-learning is no longer optional, its essential. Each one of us need to educate our self.  Education must go beyond schools and colleges, it should be a lifelong journey for all age groups if we wish to thrive in this era.   So here let's explore one of very powerful concept to accelerate our learning. Concept is  Multi-Sensory Learning This concept is based on using different learning modes i.e.  VISUAL,  AUDITORY & KINESTHETIC  ( Kinesthesia happens when the brain gets feedback from muscles and ligaments about how the body is moving. Dancing is a kinesthetic art form) simultaneously to enhance learning process and memory retention. These might involve activities that appeal to sight, sound, touch, movement, and even smell and taste. By engaging multiple senses, informati...

Silence and Speech: The Art of Choosing Wisely

Silence and Speech: The Art of Choosing Wisely Silence and speech, two opposite expressions, yet equally powerful in their own space.  One carries the weight of unspoken strength, while the other carries the force of expression.  Knowing when to speak and when to keep silence is a delicate yet wise decision. This decision impacts majorly on  relationships, conversations, and even your own inner world. The thin line between silence and speech is often invisible and deeply personal too. It varies not just from person to person, but also from moment to moment. That’s why it becomes essential to pause, reflect, and choose,  because what works in one situation might not work in another. Sometimes, silence is louder than a thousand words.  In moments when the other person is not ready to listen, words lose their meaning and impact. In such times, silence becomes a statement in itself.  On the other hand, words, when timed right and spoken with intention, hav...

Wear the glasses of positivity...

Wear the Glasses of Positivity Instead of saying “The sun has set,” try saying “The stars are shining.”  It’s the same moment, but with a completely different vibe. The words we use during our conversation, and the way we describe the situation, shape the environment around us. They influence not just how others perceive things, but also how we feel inside. Our language, our words, our tone, our emotions directly impacts our mental state. So let’s be mindful of the words we choose, especially when dealing with negative or frustrating moments. The situation might not change, but our response to it can make all the difference. Next time,  Your kids aren’t listening to you… OR Someone says something hurtful… OR  Your teacher scolds you… OR  Your close-ones says something you didn’t like… Pause. Take a breath. And ask yourself: Is there something to learn here?  Can I use this as a stepping stone to grow? Wear the glasses of positivity.   Try to look ...
